Patrik advises boards and leadership teams, as well as executives in transition. He reads what others overlook, and brings an empathy grounded in the realities of leadership.

He helps boards of directors examine what they rarely work on, not how they govern but how they collaborate. He addresses the group dynamics that leadership teams often underestimate. And he reminds executives that the strengths that earned them the role are the easiest ones to overuse.

He has served on several leadership teams himself, at both strategic and operational levels. He has firsthand experience from listed companies, family firms, entrepreneurship and the public sector.

Before founding Minden, Patrik spent eight years at Michaël Berglund, most recently as Managing Director of Board & Leadership Services. He has worked in executive search, leadership assessment and organisational development since 2011, with firms including Assessio.

In addition to his private sector background, Patrik has held senior roles in Swedish government agencies: Head of Media Relations at the Swedish Security Service, Communications Director at the Swedish Migration Agency, and interim Chief of Staff at the Swedish Institute. He began his career as a news and current affairs journalist at Sveriges Radio, Sveriges Television (SVT) and TV4.

Patrik lives in Stockholm with his wife, son and the family cat. He spends his weekends hiking, having a go at running and systematically buying more books than he will ever have time to read.
